My name is Matthew Riale, the owner of Straight Up Web Design & SEO. I’ve proudly called Myrtle Beach home for nearly six years. With a college degree in web development and years of hands-on experience, I’ve built and supported websites for web design and marketing agencies across the United States. Along the way, I learned what separates an average website from one that truly performs—clean design, fast load times, strong messaging, and a clear path that converts visitors into leads.
After years of freelancing, I decided to launch my own web design and SEO company with one goal: help local businesses compete—and win—in their niche. I build sleek, modern, high-converting websites designed to look professional, earn trust quickly, and drive real results. On top of that, I help businesses become highly visible online by improving their local search engine optimization (SEO) so they can show up where it matters most: in front of people that are actively searching for their products and services.
I also know the challenges of SEO from the business owner’s side. I’ve built and grown my own online information resource website that is outside the web design and SEO space, and I’ve personally handled the SEO that drives its traffic. That experience taught me how frustrating it feels to work hard on something and still feel invisible online.
